Shanghai Chicken Porridge

·         Materials:

250 g boneless chicken meat
700 ml hot water
3 cloves garlic, spread
2 cm ginger, spread
1 1/2 tsp salt
200 g shirataki rice, coarse mashed
2 tsp ang ciu
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp soy sauce

·         Sprinkles:

2 pieces cahkwe, sliced 1/2 cm
2 tbsp fried onions
2 tbsp chopped celery
Vinegar/chili sauce

·         How to make:

1.    Put chicken meat, water, garlic, ginger, and salt in a slow cooker bowl.
2.    Turn the button on the high set (cook for 2 hours) or high (cook for 2 hours). Remove chicken meat, after cold shredded. Set aside.
3.    Next, put Rice, ang CiU, sesame oil, and soy sauce in the stew broth. Close and continue cooking for 2 hours (on a high set). Stir occasionally until thick porridge. Turn off the slow cooker.
4.    Serve porridge while warm with sprinkles of shredded chicken, cahkwe, fried onions, celery, and vinegar/chili sauce.
