Hainanese Rice


·         Materials:

2 pieces of chicken breast, select the fleshy
1.5 Liters of hot water
2 cm young ginger, thinly sliced
1 tsp rice vinegar
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp granulated sugar
2 tsp salt
300 g Shirataki Rice
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 stems scallion, thinly sliced


·         How to make:

1.    Put chicken breast, hot water, ginger, vinegar, rice, sesame oil, granulated sugar, and salt into a slow cooker bowl.
2.    Close, turn the button on the set low (cook for 3 hours) or high (cook for 2 hours).
3.    After the chicken is tender, lift and drain. Set aside dashi as much as 400 ml (for presentation).
4.    Put the rice into the remaining broth (about 500 ml), add the garlic, onion, and a little salt (if necessary). Close and continue cooking on the high set (for 2 hours) while stirring occasionally so that the rice is flat. Turn off the slow cooker.
5.    Serving: Cut chicken breasts, serve with rice and gravy broth.
