Chinese Food Steamed Ribs

·         Materials:

2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, spread
500 g beef ribs, choose a fleshy
350 ml hot water
2 tbsp taosi
1 tbsp sweet soy sauce
2 pieces of red chili, chopped
1 tsp granulated sugar
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp cornstarch, dissolve with 1 tbsp water
1 Japanese cucumber, cut like a matchstick



·         How to make:

1.    Heat a slow cooker on a high set, butter input, melt. Put garlic and beef ribs, stir stirring a few moments until the ribs are slightly browned.
2.    Add hot water, taosi, sweet soy sauce, red chili pepper, sesame oil, granulated sugar, black pepper, and salt. Turn the button on the set low (cook for 5 hours) or high (cook for 3 hours).
3.    Add cornstarch solution, stir until blended. Cook again for 10-15 minutes until the sauce is slightly thick. Turn off the slow cooker.
4.    Serve beef ribs with a complement of Japanese cucumber.
